Enabling the Newsletter
To enable the newsletter feature:
- Access the Quotion dashboard.
- Navigate to a site page.
- Select
Newsletter
from the sidebar. - Click
Settings
. - Toggle the newsletter option to enable it.
Customizing the Newsletter Form
The newsletter subscription form automatically appears on your site's home and post pages once enabled.
Control the newsletter form's visibility on home or post pages via their respective design settings.
Personalize the newsletter title and description to align with your brand or preferences.
Welcome Email
New subscribers receive a welcome email by default.
Default Welcome Email Preview:
Dedicated Email Address
Your newsletter uses a dedicated email address (e.g., <yourname>@newsletter.quotion.co
), automatically generated from your account name. Modify this in your profile. The newsletter.quotion.co
domain enhances privacy and delivery rates.
Customizing the Welcome Email
Several options are available for the welcome email:
- Use the default welcome email.
- Select one of your existing posts as the welcome email.
- Disable the welcome email entirely.
Manage these options in the newsletter settings:
Sending Posts to Subscribers
Distribute your latest content directly to your subscribers.
Initiating a Send
- Navigate to the newsletter page.
- Select the post you want to send.
- Click the
Send
button.
Test before sending
Send a test email via the Test
button before distributing to all subscribers.
Scheduling a Newsletter
By default, newsletters are sent immediately.
To schedule a newsletter, select a date and time before sending.
Cancelling a Scheduled Newsletter
Cancel a scheduled newsletter by clicking the Cancel
button on the table:

Newsletter posts automatically inherit these site design settings:

- Brand color
- Language
- Copyright
- Profile name
- Profile avatar

Create exclusive content to attract new subscribers with premium content that isn't publicly accessible.
Options for Exclusive Content
- Hide the post from your site
- Protect with password:
Clearly indicate exclusivity in the newsletter title and description.
