How to enable it?

1. Log into the dashboard
2. Go to your site settings, https://app.quotion.co/site/<your-site>/settings
3. Enter the password into the password protection form
4. Click the save button
5. Wait for a minute
6. 🎉 Your site is protected by the password now!

Can hacker crawl the content from HTML directly?

No, Quotion dynamically renders password-protected sites, unlike regular sites that are statically rendered.

User content is not sent to a visitor's device until the correct password is entered. This prevents hackers from bypassing protection by disabling JavaScript or manipulating CSS.

Is it safe to use it to protect highly confidential content like my bank password?

We don't recommend using it to protect highly confidential content.
